Leakage current not leakage, protect you and me and others.

The leakage circuit breaker (leakage protection device) is an electric protection device which can cut off the power supply in time when the electric equipment fails and prevent the occurrence of personal electric shock. The residual current circuit breaker is mainly composed of internal organization and external structure.

The internal mechanism is made up of electronic control unit, neutral grounding device, secondary winding, moving contact and static contact, etc.

The external structure is composed of shell, electronic control unit, electric transmission device and grounding device, and has the characteristics of small volume, light weight and easy installation. Combined with leakage protector, it can not only realize the protection function of the total protector in the line, but also realize the protection function of single-phase loop and single-phase equipment, and also can be used to protect single-phase load in each branch loop. Leakage protection device is a comprehensive electrical protection device with contact system as the center, contact coordination and operating time as parameters. It can protect personal safety, protect electrical equipment, protect the power system and national property from loss, and can quickly cut off the power supply in case of accident.

There are three types of leakage protectors: Class I leakage protectors are capable of cutting off positive and negative pole power supply with zero voltage to ground; Class II leakage protectors are capable of cutting off fire wire, zero wire, ground wire and other arbitrary loop power supply; Class III leakage protectors are capable of cutting off power supply with short circuit protection function. Each type of leakage protector has its own functions: Class I (most commonly used) is mainly used for direct contact with electric shock damage; Class II (more commonly used) is mainly used for indirect contact with electric shock damage; and Class III (very commonly used) is mainly used for preventing sparks and arcs caused by insulation damage of equipment and lines.

Characteristics

1、 Overload protection and short circuit protection can be made within a certain range, and the current can be controlled through the knob on the panel within a certain range.

2、 It has three terminals, which are respectively connected with 220V alternating current phase line and protection ground line (N line), so the leakage protector can simultaneously protect three lines.

3、 The operating time shall be determined according to the time specified in the regulations, and shall not be deviated from the operating time due to voltage fluctuation or loosening of conductor connector, and shall be a real “over-current non-operating” leakage protector.

4、 When there is a short circuit in a line, the line itself shall not act; it shall only trip when there is a fault current in the line, and if there is more than two short circuits in the line, it shall trip.

5、 It may be used independently as a safety protection device or together with other protection circuits.
