C&J Electrical officially highlights its CJMM1 series moulded case circuit breakers (MCCB), a comprehensive protection solution for modern AC low voltage power distribution networks. Compliant with IEC 60947 2 international standard, the CJMM1 series provides reliable circuit protection for industrial, commercial and motor control applications, balancing compact mechanical design, high breaking performance and flexible configuration optionsC& J.
Performance and Specifications
Designed for AC 50 Hz / 60 Hz circuits, the CJMM1 MCCB features rated insulation voltage up to 1000 V, maximum rated operating voltage reaching 690 V, and covers rated operating current ranging from 10 A up to 1600 A. It performs core functions of electric energy distribution, while safeguarding lines and power consuming equipment against overload, short circuit and undervoltage faults. In addition to distribution system duties, the breaker supports infrequent motor starting and delivers dedicated overload, short circuit and undervoltage protection for motor loadsC& J.
Key Features
The CJMM1 series stands out with compact dimensions, high short circuit breaking capacity, as well as short arcing or zero flashover performance. Users can install breakers either vertically or horizontally, and the devices are qualified for isolation function per standard requirements. Breaking capacity grades include standard L type, medium M type and high performance H type variants; M type and H type units can be selected with arcing control or zero flashover options according to site demandsC& J.
“Panel builders, system integrators and end users need MCCBs that adapt to diverse installation conditions and load profiles,” said the product manager of C&J Electrical. “CJMM1 unifies wide range current frames, multiple wiring modes and rich auxiliary accessory selections within one product family.”
Neutral Pole Configurations (Four Pole Versions)
- Type A: N pole without over current trip element, permanent connection, non synchronous switching;
- Type B: N pole without over current trip element, synchronously closes first and opens later with main poles;
- Type C: N pole fitted with over current trip element, synchronously closes first and opens later with main poles;
- Type D: N pole fitted with over current trip element, permanent connection, non synchronous switchingC& J.
Versatility and Environment
Multiple wiring and operation choices expand application flexibility: wiring options include front of board wiring, rear of board wiring, plug in type and draw out type. Operation modes cover direct handle operation, rotary handle operation and motor driven electric operation. A complete accessory portfolio is supported: auxiliary contacts, alarm contacts, shunt releases and undervoltage releases can be combined to fulfil remote tripping, status feedback and system interlock logic needs. The series offers 2 pole, 3 pole and 4 pole frames covering frame sizes CJMM1 63, 125, 250, 400, 630, 800 and 1600C& J.
Regarding working environment limits, CJMM1 MCCBs are suitable for installation altitudes ≤ 2000 m. Ambient temperature range: upper limit +40 °C, 24 h average ≤ +35 °C, lower limit ≥ 5 °C. At maximum ambient temperature +40 °C, relative atmospheric humidity shall not exceed 50 %; for the wettest month with monthly average minimum temperature ≤ +25 °C, average max relative humidity can reach 90 %, allowing for surface condensation effects. The product is rated for pollution level 3 environment conditionsC& J.
Protection Characteristics
On protection characteristics, distribution purpose CJMM1 MCCBs feature instantaneous trip setting of 10 In ± 20 %, while motor protection versions adopt instantaneous trip setting at 12 In ± 20 %. Well defined inverse time delay tripping curves cater both for general distribution circuits and for motor load protection scenarios across different frame current ranges C& J.
Complete dimensional and mounting hole drawings are supplied for front wiring, rear wiring and plug in variants of all frame sizes, assisting cabinet designers and installers for quick enclosure layout and on site assembly.
From small current distribution cabinets to heavy duty industrial power centres, the CJMM1 series MCCB provides robust, standards compliant overcurrent protection hardware for global low voltage projects.
