The HGL series load isolation switch is mainly suitable for AC 50Hz, with a rated voltage up to 660V, and DC rated voltage up to 440V. The rated current can reach up to 3150A. This switch is designed for infrequent making and breaking of electrical circuits.

  1. The HGL series load isolation switch features a flexible modular design structure and versatile composition. It adopts a shell made of unsaturated polyester resin reinforced by glass fiber, offering high dielectric performance, protective capability, and reliable operation.
  2. The operating mechanism employs an elastic-accumulating accelerating mechanism for instant release, enabling instantaneous on and off operation of the double-breakpoint contact. Its performance is independent of the speed of the operating handle, significantly enhancing various electrical and mechanical properties.
  3. Multiple structural and operational forms are available, including observation of contact status through windows. Options include both internal and external board operations, frontal and lateral operations, as well as connections behind the board.
  4. This switch boasts an attractive outline and diverse functions. It is innovative, simple, compact, and stands as the top choice among congeneric products.

Normal operating Conditions​

The HGL series load isolation switch can operate reliably under the following conditions:

  1. Altitude above sea level does not exceed 2,000 m;
  2. Ambient temperature is not higher than +40ºC and not lower than -5ºC;
  3. Relative humidity is not greater than 95%;
  4. No explosive or hazardous atmosphere;
  5. No exposure to rain or snow.
  6. Note: If the load isolation switch is intended for use in environments where the ambient temperature is higher than +40ºC or lower than -5ºC (down to -45ºC), customers should inform the manufacturer in advance.

 

Product features

  1. The elastic-accumulating accelerating mechanism enables instant release, achieving rapid making and breaking (13.8 m/s). Its operation is independent of the speed of the operating handle and greatly improves the arc extinguishing capability.
  2. The shell, made of unsaturated polyester resin reinforced by glass fiber, offers excellent flame resistance, dielectric performance, safe operation, carbon resistance, and impact resistance.
  3. The parallel double-gap contact features a self-cleaning function.
  4. All contact materials are made of silver-plated copper alloy and feature two separate contact surfaces.
  5. Large insulation distance.
  6. In the “OFF” position, the product allows the handle to be locked with three locks simultaneously, preventing misoperation.
