Short Description:

  1. The CGLR (HGLR) Series Fuse Combination Switches (hereinafter referred to as the switch) are a type of multi-pole manually operated switches. Adopting a shell made of glass-fiber reinforced unsaturated polyester resin, they feature excellent dielectric performance, strong protection capability, and safe operability.
  2. The operating mechanism is an elastic energy storage and acceleration instantaneous release device, which enables the double-gap contacts to make and break instantaneously. This process is independent of the operating handle, thus greatly improving both the electrical and mechanical performance of the product.
  3. The fuse combination switches can reliably make and break circuits under load conditions, and provide dependable over-current and short-circuit protection. The switch’s off-state is visually obvious, and it has strong moisture resistance.

Scope of application

The CGLR (HGLR) Series Fuse Combination Switches are mainly suitable for AC circuits with a frequency of 50 Hz, a rated AC voltage up to 660 V, a rated DC voltage up to 440 V, and a rated current up to 800 A. They are designed for non-frequent switching operations of circuits.

 

The HGL series load isolation switch can operate reliably under the following conditions:

  1. Altitude above sea level does not exceed 2,000
  2. Ambient temperature is not higher than +40ºC and not lower than -5ºC;
  3. Relative humidity is not greater than 95%;
  4. No explosive or hazardous atmosphere;
  5. No exposure to rain or snow.
  6. Note: If the load isolation switch is intended for use in environments where the ambient temperature is higher than +40ºC or lower than -5ºC (down to -45ºC), customers should inform the manufacturer in advance.

Structure and Operation Modes

  1. Direct front operation: The handle is mounted on the front of the switch.
  2. Direct side operation: The handle is mounted on the right side of the switch. (Users requiring left-side handle mounting shall specify this requirement in advance.)
  3. Front-mounted external operation: The handle is mounted on the front of the distribution board.
  4. Side-mounted external operation: The handle is mounted on the right side of the distribution board. (Users requiring left-side handle mounting shall specify this requirement in advance.)
  5. Type S auxiliary contacts are available upon request.
