Professional inverter creates infinite possibilities.

Introduction of Inverter

An inverter is an electronic device that converts alternating current into direct current, mainly used to supply power to a load. Inverter is a device that converts DC voltage source into AC voltage source. It can be used in microcomputer or single- chip microcomputer system as well as signal processing equipment.

Inverters can be divided into single-phase, three-phase and full-bridge inverters according to the power level. Single phase and three-phase inverters are composed of transformers, filters and LC filters, and the output waveform is sine wave; full-bridge inverters are composed of rectifier filter circuit, Schottky diode (PWM) circuit and drive circuit, and the output waveform is square wave.

Inverters may be classified into three types: fixed on-off type, dead-zone control type (sine wave route) and switch control type (square wave route). With the development of power electronics technology, inverters are widely used in various fields.

Basic concepts

An inverter is a power electronic device that converts direct current into alternating current. The inverter consists of a rectifier filter circuit, a Schottky diode (SOK) circuit and a drive circuit.

The inverter can be divided into active inverter and passive inverter, passive inverter, also known as the inverter circuit or voltage regulator circuit, generally by the input stage, intermediate stage (LC) filter, output stage (rectifier), etc., and the active inverter is the input voltage signal conversion to obtain a stable DC voltage.

The passive inverter usually has a compensation capacitor in the rectifier bridge, while the active inverter has a filter inductor in the rectifier bridge.

Inverter circuit has the advantages of small size, light weight, high efficiency and so on. It is the key part of all kinds of power electronic equipment.

Classification

According to the topology of the inverter can be divided into: full-bridge inverter, push-pull inverter.

It can be divided into PWM (pulse width modulation) inverter, SPWM (quadrature signal modulation) inverter and SVPWM (space voltage vector modulation) inverter.

According to the driving circuit classification can be divided into: half-bridge, push-pull type.

According to load type, it can be divided into single-phase inverter power supply, three-phase inverter power supply, DC converter, active filter inverter power supply, etc.

According to the control mode can be divided into: current mode and voltage mode.

Application Field

Inverters are widely used in industrial automation, military equipment, aerospace and other fields. For example, in industrial automation, reactive power compensation devices mainly used in power systems can adjust high-voltage power supply, improve production efficiency, save electric energy and provide stable power supply for industrial production; in communication, reactive power compensation devices can be used to adjust the voltage of low-voltage systems to stabilize them within a reasonable range and realize long-distance communication; in transportation, they can be used in automobile engine starting system and automobile battery charging system; in military equipment, they can be used in the power supply and automatic control system of weapon equipment; in aerospace, they can be used in aircraft engine starting power supply and battery charging power supply.
